Director Sujoy Ghosh gave us a good thrill in Kahaani and now he is back with one more, this time he weaves in mythology. The film titled ‘Ahalya’ is a 14 minute short film starring Radhika Apte in the title role. It keeps you on the edge every minute. According to the myth Ahalya was considered as the most beautiful women, married to a much older sage. She was cursed for infidelity by her husband. In this short film Ghosh gives a modern twist to the tale and it is chilling. Radhika plays the sensuous role and is a convincing seductress. She looks hot in a tiny white night-suit that she is wearing in the film. She keeps you gripping till the end of the thriller. She has proved yet again that she can experiment with any roles and do a good job at it.
